Hi, I am Andrew (Drew), and have only just found Gundam models.
I am interested in stop motion animation and was looking for models to use, when I discovered the videos by PatrickBoivin, Prime92 and 2old4toys, showing the Gundam models.

Being a recent grandad, I have missed all the anime cartoons etc, but do like the articulation of these models.

Anyone know the best place to purchase these models?
I live in the uk and have so far, only found Hongkong sellers.

Anyways, I just started to Do Painting on my Gundam and Evangelion robots because I realised how much fun it would be with colours. Normally I would just fix it and leave it to dust.

I'm Australian, so don't be surprised at my prolific use of the word mate.
I am what we in the business call a Noob.
I've got a High Grade 1\144 00 kit ( seven swords ) and a couple of SD kits ( exia, freedom, force impulse. ) and frequently spend my work days drooling over all manner of kits. Usually from 00 and Seed ( although I probably couldn't name what series most kits are from anyway ). Not sure why, I think it's just the aesthetic of those particular series, or it could be because I've seen a handful of episodes from the 00 series, a few Gundam seed episodes and that's about it.
I stumbled into Gundam from Warhammer, through 2old-4-toys on you tube actually.

I'm super bummed I only found out about the contest a few days ago. I paint 28mm figs, usually 40k, although recently I've got my mitts on some privateer press figures, which are super cool by the way, so the flags painting challenge would have been right in my wheelhouse. Anyhoo, good luck to anyone who made it into the comp and I'll see you round the forums.

i'm a Gunpla builder, electronic gadget enthusiast, video game player and in real life i am a volunteer firefighter. planning to build at least one more PG this year and i recently been introduced to MG with the purchase of the MG Strike Freedom back in november. other than HG and NG models, i've built 4 MG in my time as a builder and one Perfect grade (gundam MK II but it has seen better days dunno what my next pg will be though)
